This special itinerary entitled " Vineyards of the Rhine and Mosel" travels along two of Europe's most lovely waterways, as you enjoy ancient castles, wine villages and vineyards, in addition to historic cities including Amsterdam, Cologne, and Luxembourg, on your way to Paris!
OSSN Members and their special guests will set sail from Amsterdam where you will board the MS AmaDolce and enjoy an overnight stay in this colorful European city! You will sail to the enchanting German river port cities along the Rhine River including Cologne, with its medieval Gothic Cathedral; the wine village of Rudesheim, with its Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum; Mainz ( Heidelberg), home to the famous Gutenberg Museum and the world's first printed Bible. You will sail down the Koblenz, which is situated at the confluence of the Mosel and Rhine Rivers, continuing on the Mosel River to Cochem and visit the Reichsburg Castle, and then into Bernkastel which boasts over 500 years of documented wine producing history. Your final port will be your overnight in Luxembourg, the capital of the "Grand Duchy" and the final resting place of General George S. Patton, Jr. You will also enjoy a special treat as we transfer from Luxembourg to Paris on the TGV high speed train to Paris! Your special hotel hosts in Paris will include Accor's Pullman Montparnasse and the Westin Paris – Vendôme a member of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide!
