Continental Airlines and Alitalia will now codeshare some flights as joint members of the SkyTeam airline alliance. The advantages for passengers on these flights include a single check-in for all segments (with boarding passes and baggage checking).

Starting June 2, Aloha Airlines will jump from one flight a day to two daily flights between Sacramento and Orange County. (After June 1, the carrier will end its flights between Las Vegas and Orange County.)

Air India will expand its direct flights between Toronto to Amritsar and Delhi (with a quick stop in Birmingham, England, on the way) from three times a week to six beginning May 1.

Lufthansa will add a second daily flight between Newark and Frankfurt, Germany, in June.
