Eager to escape the hustle and bustle of the year-end holiday season (Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year's), many travelers these days opt out of the madness at home. Instead, they choose to hit the high seas -- booking cruises in November, December, and January!

If you'd like to tap into this lucrative source of travel business, keep these tips in mind:

Remind your clients to plan well ahead of time to book the best cabins.

Many holiday cruisers are repeat travelers, and they will likely book year-end sailings before the new year's calendar is hanging in their homes. Late spring through early summer is not too early to start promoting year-end holiday cruises to your clients. (You know the cruise industry, though. It's still possible to find excellent deals on these sailings now. But, the best ships usually sell out their holiday itineraries.)
