Education is the Key to Your Success

For today's home-based travel agents, education must be ongoing if they want to stay on the cutting edge of this ever-changing industry. Yes, you took a travel course when you first became a travel agent -- but I guarantee that, if you have not taken a continuing education course, attended an OSSN seminar, or gone on a fam trip, your skills may not be up-to-date and your sales could be suffering.

While attending the Home Based Agent Show in Baltimore, I had the opportunity to ask agents what areas of training they needed help with. The answers were always the same: Marketing, Selling to Groups, and Organizational Skills. I put my staff to work developing new Continuing Education Programs, and I am pleased to announce that, beginning January 1, 2006, Career Quest Training Center will launch three new online programs:
