Al & Pat Magee Win TravelSafe Contest!

After 11 years of selling cruises, OSSN members Al and Pat Magee know a lot about keeping their clients happy.

And, as winners of the recent TravelSafe sales contest, they obviously know how to keep their clients safe, too!

By selling more TravelSafe travel insurance plans than any other OSSN member, the Magees won a free OSSN fam trip of their choice. They attribute their success to their steady sales efforts.

"Over the years, we developed a growing database of cruisers," they said. "We stopped advertising in 1998 and have repeats and referrals as our major source of business.

"We have always sold TravelSafe to our cruisers. We integrated selling travel insurance into our business. We buy TravelSafe for our protection on our trips, and we tell our clients they should, too."

Having owned a national travel agency franchise for five years, then working as outside agents and starting their own agency (Cruises by Al & Pat Magee) in early 2000, the Magees have seen the unexpected happen on their cruises. That's why they value TravelSafe's outstanding service for travel agents. "Client claims have always been handled promptly, and their people are always professional and helpful," they noted.

Al and Pat also love the support they receive from OSSN. "At times, we have had outside agents and referring agents, but at the present it is just the two of us," Al said. "OSSN is very helpful to a small operation like we have."
