Selling Cruises: Cruising to Antarctica

After your clients have conquered the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, you should offer them what many experienced cruisers consider a dream destination:

Antarctica -- the most remote region on the planet!

Almost two dozen cruise vessels now sail the waters around Antarctica, the world's southernmost continent that surrounds the South Pole. Many cruises depart from South America, which lies just 620 miles from the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula (the site of most Antarctic cruises). However, some sailings brave other areas such as the Weddell Sea, the Ross Sea, and eastern Antarctica.
