Can This Trip Be Saved: New Flight Time May Ruin the Honeymoon!

Question: Using my host agency's online booking engines, I purchased nonrefundable tickets for my clients to travel from Los Angeles to Tahiti for their honeymoon. Lo and behold, when I went back a day later to print another copy of the flight itinerary for them, I noticed that the departure time from LAX had been moved up by two hours! The airline did not alert my host agency or me about this change, and certainly my clients were not told about it.

The change presents a huge problem for us, because my clients were literally driving from the wedding reception to the airport for this trip. In other words, the time change means they'll have the chance for one or two dances at the reception before they hurry to the airport. There's no time for cutting the cake or throwing any bird seed!
