OSSN FAM Report: Panama
by Lori Snow

Condor Outfitters teamed up with OSSN for a FAM trip to Panama on Nov. 15-20. There were 30 agents from all over the United States who joined this FAM. Each day was filled with excellent tours representing the highlights of Panama.

The agents experienced the best that Panama has to offer over five days. On arrival, the group met at the Country Inn and Suites. This hotel sits on the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. It is a very popular location, as the pricing is excellent for individuals or groups.

On the first full day of the tour, the group visited sites throughout Panama, including the renovated "Panama Viejo" fortress built in the 1400s. Next came the Colonial City of Panama, which was the second city after "Panama Viejo" was burned to the ground by the famous pirate Henry Morgan. The day also included a stop by the Interoceanic Museum which offers details of the Panama Canal dating back to the Spaniards' first interest in the 1500s until today.
