It's All About FREEDOM!
by Melody Fee, OSSN Executive Vice President

article continued from

The afternoon and evening had so much in store for all of the professionals that sailed onboard that evening. RCI’s VP, Lisa Bauer, moderated a great forum to welcome all agents and to give all 3000+ a great update about the fleet and its plans for the upcoming seasons. RCI executives, Richard Fein, CEO and Chariman, and Adam Goldstein, President, RCI were both onboard and also participated in this very special update for travel professionals. Agents were given a special opportunity to speak in front of their peers at the end of the session, allowing them to voice their opinions about RCI and their services. It was a very special session that emphasized RCI’s policy of being…..ETDBW!!! EASY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!! Don’t forget this acronym!!
And OSSN’s biggest supporter, RCI’s Cris DeSouza, head of the HOME-BASED AGENCY CHANNEL for RCI joined OSSN members for a lovely dinner onboard as well!

We want to be sure that OSSN members really understand RCI’s philosophy! They want YOUR business, they understand YOUR business model, and they ARE COMMITTED to serving your business model in SO MANY ways! AND they really go OUT of their way to prove it to the home-based professional!!

So the evening WAS about checking out all of the amazing amenities of this “one of a kind” resort!! What was most amazing? It could have been the ice skating rink, or the outrageous FlowRider surf simulator…. or the awesome H2O Zone waterpark, or it could have been the new vintage wine bar, or the 28,000 square foot Adventure Ocean play areas! I guess it just depends on WHO you are asking!! But in the end, it is ALL ABOUT getting OUT THERE….as RCI has proven SO well to ALL of us!

Your clients will discover just how fabulous YOU ARE if you show them the adventure of a lifetime and make sure they “Let Freedom Ring” aboard RCI’s newest addition.

We loved sharing a fabulous evening with so many of you, including having 20 of our OSSN chapter directors onboard with us! But unfortunately it was over in an instant!

We really look forward to offering you more exciting opportunities to experience RCI brands, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Celebrity Cruise Lines in the year ahead!

At OSSN’s upcoming National Conference in San Jose, California on Oct 19, Royal Caribbean will be offering some great educational information on how to build more sales and business income by working with their company to promote group and incentive cruise sales! We look forward to having you join us there at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel. AND if you want to experience RCI’s Vision of the Seas immediately following the Home-Based Agent Trade Show in San Jose, you can join a great group of OSSN members who will travel with us ( immediately following) from the San Jose show down to Long Beach to board the Vision of the Seas and sail on the 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise. Agents taking part in this exciting cruise will actually fly into San Jose for the trade show, but will fly home from Los Angeles or Long Beach in Southern CA after the cruise! Keep this opportunity in mind when you book the OSSn national conference and the Home –Based Agent Trade Show in San Jose.

For more details, check out the following info on pages.

According to RCI's Chairman and CEO, Richard Fain, "Freedom of the Seas us really about freedom of choice...Freedom to make one's own vacation plans reflective of one's own tastes and interests." OSSN applauds RCI for all of the groundbreaking innovations that are such a part of making the Freedom of the Seas the most fabulous ship afloat!

OSSN President, Gary Fee shows members how to be a "real contender" as he puts on the gloves in the boxing ring located inside the fabulous fitness center aboard the Freedom of the Seas.

OSSN officers, directors and members dine with RCI's Home-Based Agency Channel Executive, Cris DeSouza! From Left: Baghdadi and Anita Balamane, Melody Fee, Cris DeSouza, Gary Fee, Melody and Steve Misiaszek, Marc Mecklenberg, Jeff Grieder, Patricia adnd Larry Bannister.

Studio B Ice Skating Show was one of many highlights of the evening!

Whatever it takes, RCI says "Get Out There!" OSSN NY member Deborah Johnson does just that by "shooting some hoops" .....What's next, Deborah?...the rock climbing wall or the mini golf?

Whether it is the H2O zone with it's colorful water sculptures and fun fountains, or the pool with dance floor stretched across its surface, RCI never misses an opportunity to entertain their guests onboard with the most variety of choices!

RCI's FLOWRIDER allows all of us the chance to "HANG TEN!"
