In Appreciation of Mentors and Mothers

Recently I was helping a very special travel professional to do some “spring cleaning” of old files and we came across several of the most wonderful letters that had been sent to her by travel industry associates that she had dealt with during the last twenty years. The letters were from travel industry associates who were praising both her and her husband’s accomplishments as travel agents and also as travel industry educators over the last 25 years. These special letters were so inspiring to me and they made me realize how much she had given to so many during her exciting career and how she had been so innovative as a travel professional. The woman I am referring to helping is my own very special mother-in-law, Ernestine (Ernie) Fee and all I can say is that her first 10 years in the travel industry back in the 1980’s affected the way that thousands of us do business today. She and my father-in-law, Ed Fee, were such trend setters that it is just amazing!
