OSSN Brings Training – and ‘Sideways’ Side Trips – to San Jose!
by Martin Deutsch

A powerful conference program, coupled with its largest trade show ever, will highlight the third annual Home Based Agent Show for travel agents, co-located with the fourth annual Honeymoon & Romantic Getaways Show & Conference in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday , Oct. 19, through Saturday, Oct. 21. Produced by Travel Industry Shows, this compelling weekend event will again partner with the Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN), which will offer its delegates a full-day of training and educational seminars, topped off with an evening function.

OSSN President Gary Fee said that his decision to present his annual conference in conjunction with the Home Based Agent Show was based on "the secure knowledge that this was the most tried and true formula for his travel agent and supplier members in a proven venue." He added that the previous show in Baltimore last September drew 1,363 travel agents from 44 states and five Canadian provinces -- a record turnout for such a niche event.

Mysterious and majestic, indescribably beautiful and varied, the Great Lakes have entranced human beings for millennia. These inland seas offer travelers untold delights and unexpected marvels, from the civilized pleasures of Chicago and Thunder Bay to the cliffs, canyons and waterfalls that lie just beyond the shore. Our guests will explore historic port cities at our leisure and enjoy the splendors of the northern wilderness. Most of all, they will savor the lakes themselves, moment by moment – the glorious coastal scenery, the wildlife, the dramatic vistas, the fiery sunsets. As a German owned and operated cruise ship, marketed in both the U.S. and Germany, all programs and announcements will be in both English and German.
