Selling Travel 101: Interpreting Deck Plans for Your Clients

Click to see the large picture!Look at the typical cruise line brochure or Web site, and you will see many diagrams of the insides of each ship. Like house blueprints, these "deck plans" will show you where the ship's public rooms (dining rooms, bars, lounges, show rooms, libraries, casinos, and other areas open to the public) are located.

Also, these deck plans will usually include actual diagrams of the different types and sizes of cabins available aboard that vessel, along with color photographs of these cabin interiors.

Keep these tips in mind (shared by your fellow OSSN members!) when you explain to clients how these deck plans work:
