Why I Want a Rebate

At a recent barbeque with some friends and business associates, I learned why I should ask you for a rebate. Among the gathering were a pediatrician, a school teacher, and a travel agent. We were chatting while admiring our host's flower garden when the subject got around to the difficulties each encountered in his or her everyday work.

The pediatrician said that, while she loved her career, there were many drawbacks to it. In addition to all of the studying she did to stay current on medical advances, her insurance rates were hurting her practice financially. She also commented on the costs of the seminars she attended each year, how they ate into her family time, and how her clients expected her to be available 24/7. But her main worry was whether she could afford to stay in practice.
