OSSN Discovers the Magic of the Gulf Coast!
by Melody Fee, OSSN Vice President
It's
a whole new scene for OSSN! After 16 months in the planning, we've
moved the main headquarters to a great new location! Do we miss
Jupiter, FL? Oh, yes, it was a GREAT place to live and work for
15 years! So what drew us to Manatee County on the west coast of
Florida? Well, let me tell you! It is just as fun and exciting on
this coast of beautiful Florida as it is on the east coast! We really
love the change and the new "digs!" ( That would be both
the offices and the "mini" ranch!) We call it "Painted
Palms" and according to OSSN president, it is NOT a farm, because
he is NOT into " E-I-E-I-O"…it is a ranch. And that
would make him a "wanna-be" rancher.
OSSN headquarters is now located on a 10-acre property
just about 20 miles east of the Gulf of Mexico on the outskirts
of both Sarasota and Bradenton, FL. The scenery out the office window
is, of course, my favorite one……two gorgeous American
Paint horses that graze and mow my grass at the same time! That
is real horsepower! And if you haven't heard the story…..this
entire move happened because of a used saddle that I bought along
side of highway 70 on my way from Jupiter across the state to St
Petersburg. It was one of those revelations that says to us "Life
is short…live it to the fullest." And I really missed
having equine friends in my life. So here we are!
