Selling Travel 101: Deciphering Hotel Rates

Last month, Liz Badras with CCRATravel.com launched the first OSSN Webinar in a new 10-part series this year explaining the secrets of hotel rates.

In particular, she demonstrated how, by taking a few minutes to review different rate categories within her company’s Web portal for agents, you can offer your clients a wide range of booking options -- from the same rates they’ll find on Hotels.com to net rates that are lower than Hotels.com prices but still pay you (as the agent) higher commissions!

Here’s the catch, though: You must understand the fine print in what you’re booking.
