Boulder

Robin Paschall -- the director of the OSSN Boulder Chapter -- reports that more than a dozen agents attended the chapter’s July 19 meeting at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Louisville, Colo.! Linda Netherda with Adventures by Disney shared the latest news about her company’s family-friendly tour programs.

Tucson and Mesa/Phoenix

When two OSSN chapters join forces, the result is twice the fun!

In Arizona, Caroline Von Ziemann (who directs the OSSN Tucson Chapter) and Paula Goldsmith (director of the OSSN Mesa/Phoenix Chapter) worked together to conduct a Tucson fam trip on July 21-22 for their agents. Twenty-five home-based agents showed up for this trip! They stayed at the Lodge on the Desert in Tucson.

This fam proved so successful, in fact, that Paula says she and Caroline will offer a similar trip next year in a different part of Arizona.

The trip started with a wonderful reception on Saturday night.

Sunday morning began with breakfast and a joint chapter meeting.

Tucson’s Lodge on the Desert dates from 1936.

Shown here enjoying the trip are (in assorted order) Caroline and Roy Von Ziemann, Paul and Paula Goldsmith, Carrie Lindsey, Erika and Daniel Villanueva, Helen and Mary Wirschen, Jimmie and Jim Simon, Jan and Bruce Spell, Linda Fucate, Donna Mabry, Miriam and Dave Hyatt, Edith and Jack Cohen, Phyllis and Robert Hardin, Lois and Leon Thikoll, Dianne Riley, and C'Ana Stafield.

The agents learned a lot during their tour of the Pima Air & Space Museum.

Tired but happy OSSN agents on the bus ride home!

Peggy O’Neal, who directs the OSSN New Mexico Chapter, welcomed Blue Sky Tours to her meeting at the El Pinto Restaurant in Albuquerque on July 28. The group discussed “Hawaii for the Independent Spirit,” and they even talked about having a “Hawaii Night” in the area!

LEARN SOMETHING NEW TODAY!

The travel industry is changing in so many ways every single day.  How do you keep on top of all of this change?  You could spend hours sifting through various sources of information. Or you could...    View a WEBINAR on the OSSN website!

What's a WEBINAR?
It is a short online presentation.  Think of it like watching a mini tv show right on your computer screen.  No commercials, no interruptions, just straightforward facts on the specific topic you have selected.

How Many WEBINARS Are There?
The OSSN website currently has over 30 different WEBINARS for you to view from past presentations.  In addition, a new WEBINAR is produced each month.

We have posted the upcoming WEBINAR schedule as well as a list of past WEBINARS which are still available for you to view.
