Innovative and Fun Marketing Ideas

I once used actual plastic baby bottles to mail invitations out for a baby shower. I filled each baby bottle with pastel-colored confetti and rolled the invitation inside. I pre-typed the adhesive stick-on mailing labels that went on the outside of the bottles. The cost was $.65 to mail each of these, but what a response I got. Friends talked about these invitations for the longest time. If this got such a great response, I figured, why couldn't I come up with some creative ways to promote my travel business in the same manner?

The following are samples of some promotional ideas that will get the responses wanted at a minimal cost to you. A lot of these items can be put inside a regular letter-size envelope and need no extra postage.
