Daytona Beach

Myrtis Rimassa (standing, left) – the director of the OSSN Daytona Beach Area Chapter -- organized a meeting for her group at Hulls’ Seafood Kitchen on June 24. Susan Quinn with Insight Vacations taught these home-based agents the difference between a “bus” and a “luxury motorcoach!”

The OSSN Mesa/Phoenix Chapter learned how to work with Auto Europe during the group’s June 5 gathering at the Sunland Village Restaurant. Shown here are (l to r) Paula Goldsmith (the chapter’s director), Cindy Erotas (Auto Europe), Judy Fedt, Faye Mann, and Ana Standfield.

Memphis

The OSSN Memphis/Northern Miss./Eastern Ark. Chapter loves getting together. These agents held three different meetings last month! “This group just keeps on coming to the meetings, no matter how many I have every month,” reports Patricia Bannister, the chapter’s president. “They are such a loyal group.”

On June 12, these home-based agents gathered at a Perkins Restaurant in Memphis to hear Tracie Mosley with Carnival Cruise Lines talk about selling group and incentive cruises. Pictured are (l to r) Tracie and Llana Smith, a brand-new OSSN member who joined during that meeting!

On June 21, the chapter heard a presentation from Kathy Stout-Faisal (far right, kneeling), the Tennessee rep for Norwegian Cruise Lines. (NCL’s rep for Arkansas and Mississippi had a canceled flight in Dallas and couldn’t make it.) Patricia says the agents learned a lot about how NCL can help home-based agents grow their businesses.

Then, the chapter enjoyed “some really good food, networking and fellowship” at their Second Annual BBQ on June 30 at the home of Karen and Greg Shipman (Shipman Travel). “It stormed that day, but these agents didn’t care,” Patricia says. “They had a wonderful time.” Shown here are (l to r) Karen Shipman, Denise Anderson, Saralynn Turner, and Penney Rudicil (OSSN’s Eastern Regional Manager).

At the BBQ, Steve Pryor (center) has the attention of the table while talking about a group he and his wife Dianne (sitting opposite Steve) will take to Alaska with Carnival Cruise Lines

Kevin Rudicil (third from right) keeps a close eye on the discussions at his table in front. Meanwhile, at the table in the back, Larry Bannister (far right) is sharing ideas with other agents

This OSSN BBQ lasted from 4 p.m. on June 30 through the morning of July 1 for some agents. Karen and her husband Greg graciously opened their home to Penney, Patricia, and their spouses due to the long drives from their homes. In this picture, Penney, Karen, and Patricia (l to r) continue sharing great travel ideas. (Have you noticed that Penney and Patricia don’t go anywhere without their laptops?)

“Liberty of the Seas” Training Cruise

Can you spot your favorite OSSN chapter directors in these photos? They’re from the recent training cruise for OSSN leaders aboard the Royal Caribbean ship “Liberty of the Seas.” These directors learned how to conduct seminars at sea for future OSSN fam cruises!
