I have been seeing several reports in the various media recently that discuss the fact that a large percentage of American workers are not taking their vacations and time off as earned. The reports claimed that in recent studies it showed that, on average, Americans are leaving nearly a week of their vacation days unused because of stress and fears about job security. Others hesitate to take their earned vacation time because they may have come to think that they are indispensable.
