Strikeouts ARE Part of the Game!

Recently I enjoyed meeting many OSSN members at the Sarasota/ St Pete/ Tampa Bay OSSN Chapter meeting hosted by Directors Midge and Robert Kramer. It was an interesting group of agents hosted for a lovely dinner by Holland America's Business Development Manager, Peggy Steele.

As we all shared information, I listened to a very "cruise oriented" agent tell a story about all of the efforts he had put into a group promotion, only to find he had "struck out" and had not gotten any bookings from his promotional efforts. The discussion led to other promotional ideas that he had decided to try "next time at bat!" And indeed, something tells me that with his devotion, he will soon be "hitting it out of the park" again with more group cruise sales!
