It’s tough to sell a place unless you’ve been there.

That philosophy explains why thousands of travel agents hit the road each year on fam trips. By experiencing a destination or a type of travel firsthand, they can return home armed with lots of stories and impressions to share with clients.

While many OSSN members have undoubtedly taken fams within the United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, and other traditionally popular tourism regions, they may not be as familiar with more exotic regions of the world where their clients want to explore.
