The global national parks movement found its origin in a remote corner of America 135 years ago, when Congress designated Yellowstone National Park in the Territory of Montana and Wyoming in 1872 as a “public park” set aside for the benefit of the people.
Today, millions of visitors spend lots of money in 390 different National Park Service areas. At a time when many home-based agents focus on the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, and other overseas destinations, it’s easy to overlook this pot of gold sitting in our own backyards!
