In the 1970s and 1980s, Capt. Merrill Stubing introduced many Americans to the idea of weddings at sea during several memorable episodes of the hit TV show “The Love Boat.”
Nowadays, cruise weddings have become an enormously popular option for engaged couples (as well as husbands and wives wishing to renew their vows). You can book everything from a simple ceremony for two to elaborate wedding parties. For the happy couple, a wedding at sea can save lots of planning time and money over more traditional land-based affairs.
