Chapter Chats

Boulder

The OSSN Boulder Chapter gathered at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Louisville, Colo., last month to learn about Zara Tanzanian Adventures! Based in Moshi, Tanzania, this company is the premier outfitter for Kilimanjaro treks and Tanzanian safaris, with more than 70 registered guides. Recently, the company opened a hotel in Karatu and a mobile tented camp in the Serengeti to provide quality lodging for guests. Zara operates a U.S. office and pays 10 percent commission to agents! Shown here are Robin Paschall (2nd from left), the chapter’s director, and other chapter members enjoying the presentation.

Charlotte Directors Meeting

OSSN’s volunteer leaders across the United States gathered in Charlotte, N.C., last month for the OSSN Chapter Directors Meeting. The powwow was held during the Home Based Agent Show. OSSN President Gary M. Fee outlined new initiatives that will be rolled out for home-based agents in the near future, and the directors swapped war stories and advice for growing their local chapters!
