Boulder

Rick Madden with Norwegian Cruise Line updated members of the OSSN Boulder (Colo.) Chapter about NCL’s latest cruise plans and promotions, reports Robin Paschall (the chapter’s director). The group met Aug. 22 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Louisville, Colo.

Cleveland

Lois Osborne (pictured at the sign-in table), the director of the OSSN Cleveland Chapter, held a “get acquainted” planning meeting for a dozen home-based agents on Aug. 23 at Mavis Winkle’s Restaurant & Pub in Independence, Ohio. Chapter members set their meeting dates for the rest of 2007 and held an open discussion on issues ranging from E&O and travel insurance plans to marketing ideas and service fees.

Miami

These agents in the OSSN Miami Area Chapter sharpened their sales skills during the “University of WOW” training session aboard the Royal Caribbean ship “Enchantment of the Seas” on Aug. 9. Dolores Samms (center, white shirt), the chapter’s director, says the group also enjoyed a ship inspection and an onboard lunch. Minneapolis

The OSSN Minneapolis Chapter gathered at the TGI Fridays restaurant in St. Louis Park, Minn., on Aug. 8 for a seminar with Linda Mehring of Funjet Vacations. Leona Olson, the chapter’s director, notes that the group learned a lot about Funjet’s packages and specials – and that everyone had a great time!

North Carolina

Chris Aves -- who directs the OSSN North Carolina Chapter -- held a recent meeting within his state for home-based agents to exchange ideas. This meeting included a visit from Penney Rudicil, OSSN’s Eastern Regional Manager. Oregon

The OSSN Oregon Chapter held a very successful meeting recently with Darla Graber of ClientEase.
