Cleveland



Lois Osborne (pictured at the sign-in table), the director of the OSSN Cleveland Chapter,
held a “get acquainted” planning meeting for a dozen home-based agents on Aug. 23 at Mavis Winkle’s Restaurant & Pub in Independence, Ohio. Chapter members set their meeting dates for the rest of 2007 and held an open discussion on issues ranging from E&O
and travel insurance plans to marketing ideas and service fees.

Miami

These agents in the OSSN Miami Area Chapter sharpened their sales skills
during the “University of WOW” training session aboard the Royal Caribbean ship “Enchantment of the Seas” on
Aug. 9. Dolores Samms (center, white shirt), the chapter’s director, says
the group also enjoyed a ship inspection and an onboard lunch. Shown with Dolores

Minneapolis

The OSSN Minneapolis Chapter gathered at the TGI Fridays restaurant in St. Louis Park, Minn., on Aug. 8 for a seminar with Linda Mehring of Funjet Vacations. Leona Olson,
the chapter’s director, notes that the group learned a lot about Funjet’s packages and specials – and
that everyone had a great time!

The OSSN Oregon Chapter held a very successful meeting recently with Darla Graber of ClientEase.
Darla explained her firm’s database technology designed for home-based agents to track their clients and bookings – and three agents signed up on the spot for a special ClientEase “hot deal!” Shown
