Chapter Chats

Houston

Jeff Grieder -- OSSN's Midwest Regional Manager -- reports a great OSSN crowd at the recent St. Louis Travel Show!

(Credits: Jeff Grieder)

The St. Louis Gateway Arch Riverfront welcomed vendors for the show.

Agents enjoyed the welcome reception aboard the "Becky Thatcher" paddlewheeler. (Unfortunately, due to fast currents in the Mississippi River, they were unable to enjoy an actual cruise on the riverboat.)

Enjoying the reception are (l to r) Maureen Sullivan
(director of the OSSN Chicago Chapter), Linda Shipp
(director of the OSSN St. Louis Chapter), and Jeff.

The welcome reception featured a beautiful buffet that included
a very talented meat carver.

Kudos to Maureen, Linda, and Jeff for assembling the OSSN
display for the show -- with no directions!

Linda speaks with these potential sellers of travel
about the benefits of OSSN.

After a long day on the trade show floor, the show
coordinators treated the vendors to a wine and cheese party.

Maureen, Linda, and Jeff run the OSSN booth
at the St. Louis Travel Show.

Richmond/Norfolk

John Grygalonis -- the director of the OSN Richmond/Norfolk Chapter -- represented the association at two recent travel shows in Virginia (Richmond and Newport News).

John congratulates Anne Walter for winningthe drawing
for a free OSSN membership!

Sue Maham signed up for OSSN at the Richmond show.

Yvette Mullins also joined the association at the show.

John manned the OSSN booth at both shows,
telling the attending agents about the benefits of belonging to
North America's largest home-based agents organization.

Reginald Ngo was the lucky winner of a free
OSSN membership at the Newport News show!

Rosy Taveira joined OSSN at this show through her host agency.

Oregon

Pamela Ott -- the director of the OSSN Oregon Chapter --
sends this photo from her March 19 meeting featuring a seminar with ResortQuest Hawaii! Enjoying themselves are (l to r) Bob and Lori Thrasher, Rinda M. Ulbrickson (ResortQuest Hawaii's regional sales manager), and Pamela and John Ott.

Albuquerque

On March 20, the OSSN Albuquerque Chapter welcomed a very special guest speaker: Keith Powell, the "Business Revivalist!" (shown right in the first photo below). Dennis Kelly, the chapter's director (shown at far right in the fourth photo), reports a good crowd for this workshop with Powell, who travels the country presenting business seminars and motivational sessions for travel and business groups.

Daytona/Orlando

Home-based agents learned about the youngest fleet of cruise ships in the industry during a special presentation for the OSSN Daytona/Orlando Chapter on March 11.

(Credits: Myrtis Rimassa)

NCL's Tom Muldoon shared a lot of valuable information with
the group about his line's current vessels and future plans.

Myrtis Rimassa (the chapter's director, far left) talks during
the Q&A break with (l to r) Jeannette Beck, Jessica Johnson,
Laurie May and Scott Manning.
