Destinations: Single-Parent Family Spots

For many OSSN agents, family travel continues to be an exploding source of new business. In fact, 85 percent of the respondents in a spring 2008 national survey of family travelers plan to take the same number of, or even more, trips this year than last year -- despite soaring gas prices and other economic woes.

These days, though, many of these trips are planned and paid for by single parents hitting the road with their children. This growing trend can sometimes result in more challenges for these single-parent families, including higher trip costs and stress levels.
