I've just returned from the annual conference of the U.S. Tour Operators Association (USTOA), the group that represents the world's leading travel packagers and tour companies. During the event, USTOA released a new survey of its members - and, the results are sobering. More than 70 percent of USTOA operators say their sales in 2009 will remain constant or drop compared to 2008 levels. Also, 40 percent plan to raise their prices next year.
