Destinations: New Orleans!

The Big Easy, the Crescent City, the Birthplace of Jazz … So, what on earth could I be talking about? Well, New Orleans, of course! This past December, I had the pleasure of visiting this great city, my first time since Hurricane Katrina. I had no idea what to expect since my last visit, which was one month prior to the devastating storm.

Needless to say, I was taken by surprise. The city was bustling, with traffic everywhere and people moving along as business as usual. It was as if nothing had ever changed. All I kept thinking was, “Katrina Who?”
