Skybus: The New Airline With $10 Seats

I just took the inaugural flight on Skybus today (Jan. 6, 2008) from Newburgh, N.Y. (Stewart International Airport) to Columbus, Ohio!

Very interesting. I was the second person who got a $10 flight. They have the first 10 seats on each flight listed as $10 each way and then, when they are taken, the remaining sets are $35 (and, depending on the area you are in, they can be up to $150 each way). I can tell you they have brand new Airbus planes, and although they had problems with these new planes during the Christmas season, a company spokesperson stated that situation is resolved. It was a clean and beautiful plane – but with no frills at all.
