Wondering what you missed at the OSSN Regional Conference and the Original Home-Based Travel Agent Show & Conference in San Diego last month?
Here's a quick review of the professional training and fun times at these events:

OSSN's chapter directors gathered before the conference to share tips and discuss strategies for 2008.

OSSN Chapter Directors do a great job administering OSSN's chapters around
the country!

Hundreds of home-based agents packed the general session room in San Diego.

Anita Pagliasso welcomed everyone to OSSN's regional meeting. (Along with her other duties, Anita now serves as national events director for the association.)

Cory Andrichuk (left) with Norwegian Cruise Line was the "doctor in the house" joining Anita and OSSN President Gary M. Fee during the general session.

Gary shared exciting updates about future OSSN programs.

Kathleen Ronald -- the "Queen of Business Networking" -- fired up the agents during her presentation.

Jeff Grieder (OSSN's "roving reporter" at the conference) interviewed Paula Goldsmith, who directs the OSSN Mesa Phoenix Chapter.

This panel featured four special suppliers who support home-based agents across the board: (l to r) Darla Graber with ClientEase, Nigel Osborne with Key Tours, Kim Sherrett with Travel Counsellors, and Cindy Perry with Travel Insured.

Anita revealed her secrets for booking more groups this year, including how to find prospective groups and plan their trips.

Strolling mariachis welcomed agents to the OSSN-members-only reception at the Jolly Boy Saloon in San Diego's historic Old Town district.

These agents relaxed with their margaritas and their plates from the delicious Mexican buffet!

OSSN President Gary M. Fee (left) welcomed agents to the reception (shown here with John Hawks, OSSN's news editor).

Having fun at the reception -- with the beautiful San Diego evening sky behind them -- were (l to r) Cindy Perry (Travel Insured), Anita Pagliasso, Melody Fee (OSSN's vice president), and John Hawks.

"Marilyn Monroe" (right) dropped into the reception to wish Gary a happy birthday!
