Many years ago, I made a strategic decision to change my professional focus from selling travel directly to supporting independent agents who sell travel. I picked the niche of serving home-based travel sellers - an arena that hasn't always garnered the most respect from the travel agency community at large. We've been called everything from "Mabels at the table" and "condo commandos" to hobbyists who aren't truly serious about what we do.
