Last month's home-based agent show in Chicago drew a huge crowd: almost 1,200 registered travel agents from 41 U.S. states and Canada! The Original Home Based Travel Agent Show & Conference in Chicago (March 10-12) goes into the books as surpassing expectations, especially in light of the current economic uncertainty and its perceived impact on the travel industry.

Secondary Coverage is generally
BETTER than Primary Coverage
Many agents are confused by the differences between Secondary and Primary Medical Coverage.  There is sometimes a huge misconception that only primary coverage is worth purchasing and that plans with secondary coverage should be avoided.

We want to make it crystal clear that TravelSafe's secondary insurance becomes primary if your own insurance does not extend beyond the US for travel outside the country (which is a very common scenario).

Additionally, hospitals and other "big ticket" medical bills are PAID DIRECT by secondary plans, which is sometimes not the case with primary plans. Many primary insurance plans will not pay up front, leaving travelers to handle the emergency themselves and only later seek reimbursement.

Medical bills for follow up care are paid up to the maximum benefit for ONE FULL YEAR from the date of your Sickness or Injury.  Some of our competitors' PRIMARY coverage expires on the client's return date.  On average, our medical coverage is going to pay a much larger benefit and avoid premature medical evacuation.  OUR FIRST CONCERN IS THE CLIENT'S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING!
