NJ/DE/SW Philly

The OSSN NJ/DE/SW Philadelphia Chapter drew a big crowd to its March 19 meeting in Mt. Laurel, N.J., to hear the latest news from MSC Cruises. Hema Khan (the chapter's director) says Dominick LaVarco (pictured), the line's regional sales manager, did an excellent job discussing his products and current sales promotions.

Hawaii

Three agents joined OSSN during the March 5 meeting of the OSSN Hawaii Chapter at the Hotel Miramar Waikiki. The featured speakers - Michael Holl, Kyle Yanabu, and Kay Lorraine - discussed taxes and 401(k) options for home-based travel agents. Stephanie Doane, the chapter's director, gives special thanks to Kainoa Doanes, the hotel's sales and marketing director who hosted the free breakfast buffet and private meeting room for her group. He even threw in free parking for the agents (usually a $30 daily fee)!
