Alaska by Car and Rail

Those of us in the travel profession know how special Alaska is. The place has all the elements of a perfect vacation: beautiful (no, magnificent!) scenery, wildlife to enjoy, glaciers to admire, fresh seafood galore, and so much fresh, crisp air to breathe. Yet, I would imagine that most of you have thus far only booked your clients by calling a cruise line and letting them handle it from there. Come with me on a different kind of Alaska adventure!
Having already cruised the glorious Inside Passage twice before, I wanted more. But, since my husband can only take a week off work at a time (he owns his own business, and it all shuts down when he's not there!), this trip was going to be land only. Ten months ago, I booked our frequent flyer tickets with Delta roundtrip to Anchorage, and the planning began.
