HOW IT WORKS FOR TRAVEL AGENTS AND AGENCIES

TRUE's (Travel Retailer Universal Enumeration System) sole purpose is to assign sellers of travel with Numeric Codes that are recognized by the travel supplier community, including cruise lines, tour operators, hoteliers, GDS providers and car rental companies.

This globally recognized numeric code is issued and maintained by the TRUE Coding System and supported by all major trade associations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To Qualify for a TRUE ID number applicants must have the following criteria:

• Maintain an active membership status in OSSN.
• Provide documented proof of compliance with "Seller of Travel" laws if applicable.
• Provide Proof of the establishment of a professional business checking account.
• Provide Proof of local business licenses. 

The TRUE code is an alternative choice for many Cruise, Tour and non-air Sellers of Travel. The cost is $99. Your TRUE code is good for one (1) year from the date of application as opposed to having to re-new on the 1st of every year. Anniversary renewals are only $75. 

RECOGNIZED BY SUPPLIERS

The TRUE program is recognized by the majority of all major travel industry suppliers and has become a standard form of industry identification for the home based travel agency striving to achieve industry recognition as a commissionable entity. Once your application is received and accepted, TRUE will issue your agency numeric code within one week.
