Chicago

OSSN Vice President Melody Fee (fifth from left) presented a special award to Maureen Sullivan (fourth from left), the outgoing director of the OSSN Chicago Chapter, during a special chapter meeting on June 16. Maureen and her husband Jack shared a special presentation with the agents on selling Ireland (their niche). The couple will be moving to Arizona to be closer to their grown children. OSSN thanks Maureen and Jack for their service to the Chicago chapter! (OSSN HQ is currently taking applications for the new chapter director.)

Daytona and Orlando



The OSSN Daytona and Orlando chapters met in Altamonte Springs, Fla., on May 28 for a joint session. Carole Conway (Orlando) and Myrtis Rimassa (Daytona), the chapter’s directors, welcomed Joanne Cotterman with Royal Caribbean to talk about the line’s upcoming programs and promotions.

Delaware


Bob Older - the director of the OSSN Delaware Chapter - reports that his group organized a very successful “Ultimate Cruise Night” on June 25 in New Castle, Del. The meeting featured representatives from 11 different cruise lines: Azamara, Carnival, Celebrity, Costa, Crystal, Cunard, Disney, Holland America Line, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Viking River Cruises. “Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves,” Bob says, noting that three other OSSN chapter directors attended the session (as well as OSSN members from four states!).

Louisiana

The OSSN Louisiana Chapter (led by Geri Simpson as the director) met in Baton Rouge on June 25 for its inaugural meeting! The agents enjoyed a special presentation by Patricia Bannister (OSSN’s South Eastern Regional Manager). They learned about OSSN’s membership benefits and the OSSN.com site. OSSN congratulates this new chapter on getting off the ground!

Richmond/Norfolk

John Grygalonis - the director of the OSSN Richmond/Norfolk Chapter - led a ship inspection for local agents aboard the “Carnival Triumph” on May 31. His group reviewed the ship’s layout and staterooms before enjoying a great lunch onboard. Sarah Jane Kirkland, a business development manager for Carnival Cruise Lines, welcomed the group on the ship while it was docked in Norfolk.
