In today’s competitive economy, it’s even more important for you to target your marketing efforts with niche marketing plans that focus your travel products and services to a small, defined portion of the market that’s not being readily served by the mainstream travel marketers.

In my recent OSSN Webinar, I outlined nine critical steps in writing your niche marketing plan:

  1. Build your plan with smart, realistic goals.
  2. Conduct and gather market research to support your plan.
  3. Carry out a SWOT (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, and Threats) analysis of your plan.
  4. Analyze your competitors.
  5. Analyze your customers.
  6. Analyze your partners.
  7. Analyze your products.
  8. Define your niche marketing objectives.
  9. Prepare your promotional plan.
