Where do you turn when it's time to book a trip for your clients: the phone - or your computer?
Many longtime agents still remember the "good old days," when we booked trips by phone or mail or fax (remember coming into the office in the morning and finding supplier faxes on thermal paper scattered all over the floor?) or we used text-based GDS screens without any fancy graphical user interfaces. Even within the past few years, many of us still spent most of our days on hold with cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, and other suppliers - phoning in our bookings and receiving verbal confirmations.
