Lafayette, LA


The OSSN Lafayette Area Chapter in Louisiana reports two very successful meetings recently. Home-based agents in Baton Rouge and Lafayette learned the latest updates from Carnival Cruise Lines and from TravelSafe in these sessions organized by Geraldine Simpson (the chapter's director).

Southern California Chapters




OSSN Joint Southern California Chapters (Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange
County & San Diego) hosted their second OSSN @ The Magic Castle Event at
this world famous private club located in the Hollywood Hills on September 23,
2009. The event drew OSSN members from as far as Florida and Las Vegas. This
popular event featured "The 7 Deadly Sins of Business Networking" workshop
conducted by Kathleen Ronald (pictured with the "bug eye" glasses)
and product training sessions with Costa Cruises, the Globus Family
of Brands,
Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and the Tourist Office of
Spain in Los Angeles. We congratulate
our chapter directors: Lei Gonzalez (San Diego), Mary Ann Mari (Inland Empire)
and Paula Mitchell Manning (Los Angeles & Orange County) on pulling off another
successful event for their chapters.

Mesa/Phoenix


The OSSN Mesa/Phoenix Chapter in Arizona welcomed a large group of agents to its Sept. 8 gathering, which featured a presentation by Rocky Mountaineer. The agents also enjoyed the "Showstoppers" show at Casino Arizona and met afterwards with "Elvis," "Garth Brooks," and "Tina Turner."

San Diego

Lei Gonzalez (r) - the director of the OSSN San Diego Chapter - congratulates Kay Weiner (l) on winning a one-year OSSN membership during the group's recent mini trade show at the Handlery Hotel and Resort in that city. Lei reports that the event was a big success!
