New TravelSafe Benefits

article continued

As a result, TravelSafe will introduce many new enhancements to its travel insurance programs. For example, one of the most exciting changes is that TravelSafe will now automatically include commission protection for travel agents – without reducing commissions in the process! – on these plans: Vacation, Premier, and Prestige. Agents currently under agreements for Agent Commission Protection will now receive 5 percent more commission with each enrollment sold.

The company’s new benefits and coverage will include the following:

  • No exclusion for epidemics and pandemics
  • Missed Connection Benefit Up To $2,500 (amount dependent on plan purchased)
  • Up to $150 to cover airline change or reissue fees if a trip is canceled by a Travel Supplier
  • Up to $250 if your client misses a prepaid event/activity due to a change in itinerary made by a cruise or tour operator
  • Revocation of previously granted military leave or reassignment due to war
  • Revocation of previously approved time off from work
  • Your clients will also be covered when their travel plans change if they are (1) directly involved in their company’s merger or acquisition, (2) if they are a victim of a felonious assault within 10 days of the departure date, or (3) if family or friends living abroad with whom they are planning to stay are unable to provide accommodations due to a covered illness, injury or death

Meanwhile, other benefits will be enhanced starting this month:

  • Job termination or layoff provided the client is employed by the same employer for one continuous year – no longer a two year employment requirement
  • Mental or nervous conditions are covered if the person is hospitalized for any length of time – no longer required to meet three day minimum

And, these exclusive and unique benefits will remain unchanged with TravelSafe plans:

  • Up to 100% “cash back” Cancel For Any Reason Benefit (see plans for details)
  • Hurricane Warning Benefit
  • Up to $300 coverage for Travel Arrangements purchased on the trip
  • Hospital of Choice for Emergency Evacuations
  • Up to $25,000 for Non-Medical Emergency Evacuations
  • Up to $150 for re-banking fees associated with frequent flyer tickets
  • Free One Call Travel Solutions Business & Concierge Services

The best part of these new developments is that TravelSafe’s travel agent partners can continue to sell without interruption. All TravelSafe agreements have now been endorsed to reflect United States Fire Insurance Company as the underwriter. The company’s appointments will be handled internally, and your state insurance licenses will remain unchanged.

So, sit back, relax – and continue selling the best travel insurance in the industry!
