Birmingham
The OSSN Birmingham Area Chapter held its final 2009 meeting on Dec. 12. Darlene Allen (the chapter's director - shown here standing with the Santa hat!) discussed the new Royal Caribbean ship "Oasis of the Seas", and she says her members enjoyed the fellowship and the holiday atmosphere.

Chicago
Mickie Thompson with Funjet Vacations served as the guest speaker during the Nov. 17 gathering of the OSSN Chicago Area Chapter. She shared the latest news about her company's Fun4Life agent program and the latest VAX VacationAccess booking engine under development. Jennifer Brown and Maria Ramirez-Gregg - the chapter's co-directors - report that their agents had lots of questions that Mickie was more than happy to answer! Daytona
Myrtis Rimassa (standing, r) - the director of the OSSN Daytona Area Chapter - welcomed Mel Figueroa with Royal Caribbean to her group's Dec. 11 meeting to discuss tips on building and managing group bookings. Mel also reviewed the latest updates about RCI's "Oasis of the Seas."

Lehigh Valley, PA
The OSSN Lehigh Valley (PA) Chapter held its holiday dinner on Dec. 2 at the Starlite Diner in Allentown, Pa. Elise Mock, the chapter's director, reports that her agents had a great time at the event.

Mesa/Phoenix
A local women's shelter will receive more than two dozen toys collected by the OSSN Mesa Phoenix Chapter during its Dec. 13 meeting. Paula Goldsmith (standing, l) - the chapter's director - says her agents enjoyed a great night with lots of great food, and everyone seemed to love it!

Northern CT/Western MA
The OSSN Northern CT/Western MA Chapter enjoyed a terrific presentation by Cathy Schlager of Costa Cruises during its Dec. 14 meeting. Cathy distributed bags of material and brought a prize given based on answering a trivia question about the cruise line. Chapter director Ferne Anderson says her chapter would like to have Cathy repeat her presentation in 2010!
