NCL to the Caribbean

During the past few months, I had heard a great variety of opinions about the Norwegian Cruise Line ship "Norwegian Spirit" that sails from New Orleans during the winter season. So, when I was offered the opportunity with OSSN to sail on her, it was the perfect opportunity to see for myself.
Both checking in and getting onboard were very smooth processes. We were greeted with a glass of Champagne and a smile. The ship itself is beautiful, and the first thing we noted was "angels" who met us dressed all in white with feathery white wings flowing. They were so cute, and they suggested that - since we had carry-on luggage and our cabins would not be ready until 2 pm - we check our carry-on bags at the casino. This was nice, as we were able to go have lunch and look over the ship without lugging them around with us. The casino is a smoking section, so you might not want to do that if you are allergic to smoke.
