We have decided to extend the time of this special promotion and will actually be giving the awards this fall. We know that many of our members are involved in some very special projects for 2010, and we want you to be able to include YOUR AGENCY's information in the categories below.
ALL submissions must be sent in no later than August 30, 2010 to be considered! (Note: OSSN was previously having a problem with the email address awards@ossn.com that you were asked to submit your information to. We are concerned there may have been a few submissions that were not received successfully, so if you thought you'd emailed a submission to be considered to this email address (awards@ossn.com), PLEASE RESUBMIT it again so that we do not miss any special submissions from our members!
The special categories that we have selected for this campaign are as follows:
- Best Website for a Travel Agency Under One Million Dollars in Annual Sales
- Best Website for a Travel Agency Over One Million Dollars in Annual Sales
- Best Cruise Marketing Campaign for a Group Promotion in 2009/ 2010
- Best Tour Marketing Campaign for a Group Promotion in 2009/ 2010
- Best Cruise Incentive Travel Campaign Run by an OSSN member
OSSN has lined up a special panel of judges among our OSSN regional managers from the four corners of the United States. We are really looking forward to your submissions!
Here is what you need to do:
If you are promoting your website (award #1 or #2 above), send us the URL link for your site, along with the details of why and how you believe your website works well for you in your promotional efforts to the retail client:
- What makes it special?
- What have you done to promote "LEAD GENERATION" that may be different than other websites?
- What attracts your clients' eyes and interest to come to your website?
- What type of supplier support have you generated to pay for any services that you offer on your website?
- What other details of interest would you like to highlight for the judges about your website?
If you are entering your agency for any of the other awards (#3, #4, or #5), give OSSN the details of your promotion:
- How did you market this special opportunity to the specific retail group or also in the general retail marketplace?
- How did you get the group lead?
- Why do you think the group chose to work with your agency?
- If it was an incentive, how did you help to develop the enthusiasm of the incentive group?
- Show us any great photos of your promotion!
- Show us the flyer or other marketing pieces that you created to promote the group!
- Did the cruise line or tour operator that you worked with also support you in any of your marketing efforts?
- Why did you select this particular supplier to work with on this group?
