I am continually amazed at how many people still have not experienced a cruise vacation. At social events, I always find myself taking a "who has been on a cruise" survey. I am awestruck at the large percentage of people who have never cruised.
The not-so-good news is that they have missed out on a great vacation. The good news is that travel agents have a huge market. However, the travel agent seeking out a first-time cruiser needs to be aware of certain keys to marketing and selling to these first timers.

Where Would I Be Without TRUE?

This past year, I have found myself more and more thankful for the opportunity to have a TRUE code through OSSN. When I became a travel agent, one of my biggest worries was how I would be able to start out in the industry and make a good amount of money in my first couple of years! I found myself a host agency, as most agents do, and quickly realized I was not happy with the arrangement. My host agency didn't even know me and was making 30 percent off my bookings. I had no contract with my host and knew nothing about him or his company. I barely spoke to him and did not feel like I could count on him for continuous support. So, I turned to the internet for help with all of my questions. This is when I came across OSSN.

Keep Your Foot on the Gas!

Can you believe it's already May 2010! It seems like just yesterday that many of us were coming to grips with the 2008 economic collapse, and then re-writing 2009 plans to try to think of creative ways to manage our businesses in the uncertain times ahead.
However, I have actually met and personally spoken to many entrepreneurs and successful business owners who did not participate in the recession last year and, in fact, enjoyed their most profitable year! Whether you struggled in your business last year, or achieved many objectives and were successful, there is no doubt that the economy is picking up, showing nice signs of recovery, and that 2010 should be a banner year! However, even with these smaller signs of economic recovery, it's key to "Keep Your Foot on the Gas" and continue to plan for success!
